Belle is a BJD and Rumple is himself. I figured he already looks and dresses creepy enough not to need too much of his design altered. Except for the stlyle he was drawn in.
My only big problem with the design is that I feel like I made Belle's feet and hands too big for a Tim Burton character. But by the time I realized it I was too far into the picture to want to change it.
He's not Jack Skellington, he's just been drawn to look like he belongs in Halloween town.
I knocked out the hardest bit of it! lol I can't help but think I should have made it fray at the edges more...
The background is one of my "quickies" that turned out really neat looking. I'm sure I could have made it better if I worked at it longer but... I'm only just starting to really put in backgrounds of any detail in my stuff
Glad to hear it! I mean, that you like my picture despite not being a fan of OUaT.
I like how her heart is exposed in the spot where the heart design is supposed to be on her dress. I've had a facination with anatomically correct hearts. lol
I've got a couple of sketchbooks that I have dedicated to drawing backgrounds so I can practice making good ones so I can feel better about it so I atually do them more. So far I have an unfinished drawing of the library in Beauty and the beast.
The 2D animation thing would be awesome. But I do really like how it is now... Kind of gives everything a real feel to it
I was thinking of drawing some backgrounds to use as backdrops for when I happen to not want to draw a background behind a character.
*imagines Rumplestiltskin suddenly bursting into a disney-esque song and busts out laughing*
