I like Archie, he's one of my favorite characters in the show. But I was disappointed in him in the episode "Broken".
It's not so much that he tried to stop the crowd from going after Regina... I just wish his reason for doing so was to protect the crowd from possibly being killed by Regina in case she had her magic back.
Plus, I would like to know how he went from kind of voting for Regina's excecution to thinking that it was wrong to kill her under any circumstance... Especially since he was kind of proven right the first time...

I'm sure it had something to do with the curse had just been broken like an hour ago. They were still suffering after-effects of their cursed personalities where you didn't challenge Regina in any way because she did no wrong and knew what was best for the town. I'm mean Archie basically blamed Emma in end of season for Regina's behavior and said that Regina was a sleeping dragon until Emma came along and awoke it. Well sleeping or not she was still a dragon and at least people were starting to realize it. Although I didn't like the comparison to a dragon, because I love dragons. I think a viper would have been more fitting.
